Good Friday

Matthew Young walks through 2 Corinthians 5:21 in four parts for the Good Friday gathering. He considers Christ who knew no sin, God making him to be sin, the phrase for our sake as the compassion that compelled God to act, and believers becoming the righteousness of God. The message describes this as the great exchange, in which Christ takes our estrangement, rejection, curse, and death so that we receive his righteousness, and it leads the congregation into written prayers of thanks and communion.
