God's Glory and the Creation Commission

Matthew Young opens the What Do I Do? series by returning to Genesis 1:27-28 and the commission to fill and subdue the earth. He teaches that humans are made to glorify God in what they do, that humans are made to work as co-creators who take what is good and make it complete, and that a broken world needs believers to do their work well. Drawing on Colossians 3:23 and Jeremiah 29, he applies this directly to students' schooling and future careers as arenas for God's glory.
